Our client, a leading provider of motion technology solutions, is seeking an Application Development Engineer. This role is exciting as it involves developing new applications and businesses with complex and technological products and services, working closely with customers, and providing technical support.

Position: Application Development Engineer
Duration: Full-time
Location: Santa Fe Springs or Santa Clara, CA

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Role Summary:

The Application Development Engineer will be responsible for developing new applications and businesses with complex and technological products and services of Our Client's customers, end-users, and prospective customers. This involves providing technical support, collaborating with sales teams, and identifying customer challenges to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

* Develop customer applications with technical and engineering support services
* Confer with customers and engineers to assess and determine requirements
* Help customers choose proper products and specifications to use, with supporting data and evidence
* Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers and prospective customers
* Collaborate with sales teams to understand customers' requirements and provide sales support
* Research and develop new products and services
* Secure orders and arrange delivery when it's one's own account

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

* Bearings industry experience
* Strong interest in customer applications
* Some experience in account development and account management
* Sales experience (not required but a plus)

Required Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
* 3-5 years of engineering work experience
* Technical knowledge of products, applications, technology trend, and market
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Other Skills:

* Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software
* Valid driver's license

Important Notes:
Some overnight trips with the Sales and Engineering teams may be required. The Application Development Engineer may be asked to take on other projects, assignments, and/or tasks in accordance with business demands.
