**Job Summary:**

Our client, a leading provider of technology solutions, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead key IT and business projects within tranformational initiatives. This role involves managing projects focused on POS gateway systems and Commercialization Initiatives, driving delivery against project/program objectives, and reporting to senior stakeholders.

**Position Details:**

* Position: Senior Project Manager
* Duration: 12 months
* Location: Remote
* Work Arrangement: Remote

**Role Summary:**

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing a program of key IT and business projects, working closely with business and IT leaders to drive certainty and speed of delivery, while ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and delivery processes.

**Responsibilities:**

* Manage projects assigned within the tranformational initiative, developing and executing project plans, and ensuring delivery against strategic objectives.
* Create and maintain PMO artifacts, including project charters, schedules, and status reports.
* Conduct project kick-offs, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project delivery, leveraging hybrid Agile-Waterfall methodologies.
* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to executive stakeholders, tailoring messaging to the audience.
* Ensure compliance with project management best practices and methodologies (PMP or Prince2 certification required).

**Ideal Candidate:**

* Strong record of delivery and execution of projects/programs against strategy
* Ability to manage multiple areas and activities without losing speed
* Drive production of high-quality plans, ensure adherence, and report on progress
* Demonstrated ability to follow and implement project management methodologies
* Committed to high quality, actively seeking improvement

**Required Skills/Experience:**

* 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the payments or POS software industry.
* Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
* PMP or Prince2 certification.
* Experience with hybrid Agile-Waterfall methodologies.

**Other Skills:**

* Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise messages for various audiences.
* Proactive and comfortable working with ambiguous data points.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities.

**Important Notes:**

* This is a contract role, with a single interview process.
* We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
