Position: PLC/Controls Technician (Electrical)

Pay Rate: $39.50 per hour (W2 Only)

Seeking to hire a Assembly Seibi Technician, providing technical/skilled support, including design/drawing review, buyoffs support, install/commissioning, and equipment start up support.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Review equipment specifications and design, identify improvements, conduct vendor buyoffs to confirm equipment functions.
• Install equipment, verify safety, quality, and productivity of equipment.
• Investigate to determine modification requirements. Implement modifications. Trial and adjust.
• Lower cost and decrease project time by confirming safety, quality, and productivity of equipment at vendor, prior to installation. Minimize adjustment time during vehicle trials by performing quality trials at vendor.
• Lower cost and decrease project time by overseeing installation by vendor, and facilitating Kanban process.
• Improve equipment quality and productivity by implementing adjustments, as identified during online vehicle trials.
• Confirm quality results by secondary method (Torque check, vacuum profiles, etc)
• Install, setup and troubleshoot Toyopuc and Allen-Bradley program controllers
• Provide training to Maintenance members on newly implemented equipment
• Share Subject Matter Expert knowledge to local North America Maintenance and Production Members �

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• 2+ years of PLC programming/troubleshooting (Toyopuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or��Allen Bradley)
• 2+ years of comprehensive knowledge of PLC’s
• 2+ years knowledge of Electrical circuits and Industrial controls (Hydraulics - Example-��motor starters etc)
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings
• Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Ability to work in various environments including hot, cold, or confined spaces
• Education: Associates Technical degree or completion of trade school program (EET or Industrial Maintenance Technology) and/or equivalent work experience.

Other Requirements:
• Travel 50% - (Domestic/International) (able to obtain a US Passport)
• Over-time 30% (covering weekends, holidays, and shutdowns, when required)
• Able to lift up 40 pounds when required
• Ability to frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching on varying surfaces.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed repairs.
• Stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work long shifts.

DESIRED SKILLS:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years Industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of AGVs/AMRs programming and set up
• Knowledge of safety scanners and programming.
• Knowledge of various industrial controls networking, EthernetIP, FLNet, and/or ProfiNet etc.
• Automotive experience
