Our Client, a leading provider of innovative cybersecurity and data analytics solutions, is seeking a Sr. Data DevOps Engineer. Join an innovative team driving the future of cyber analytics and empowering organizations to detect and respond to evolving cyber threats.

Position: Sr. Data DevOps Engineer

Role Summary:
In this role you will support a cutting-edge Cyber Analytics Platform (CAP) by designing, implementing, and managing large-scale, multi-region data lakes and analytics solutions. Your expertise in streaming and event-driven logging using AWS services will empower the organization to efficiently identify, detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats.

Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and effective data solutions utilizing AWS services such as MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka), Lambda, EC2, ECS, Glue, S3, and Athena.
• Collaborate with cloud solution architects, network engineers, analysts, program managers, and other engineering teams to develop and optimize data ingestion, analytics, and reporting solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance or failure issues within data solutions to ensure continuous and reliable operations.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Data Engineer, or a similar role with a focus on designing and managing data solutions.
• Solid background in data ingestion, data modeling, ETL, and reporting with an emphasis on streaming and event-driven logging using AWS services.
• A strong problem-solving mindset and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Experience in the cybersecurity domain is a plus.

Required Skills/Experience:
• Expertise in AWS services including MSK, Lambda, EC2, ECS, Glue, S3, and Athena.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices to drive continuous integration and deployment.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or similar.

Other Skills:
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SIEM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel) is preferred.
• Knowledge of data security, compliance, and monitoring using AWS tools like KMS, IAM, and CloudWatch.

Pay Range - $65.00-$75.00/Hr
