Our client, a leading provider of advanced engineering solutions for automotive and simulation software, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer. Join a dynamic team that is driving innovation in simulation, user interface development, and autonomous vehicle technology.

Work Arrangement:

Role Summary:
Work collaboratively across multiple teams to build and enhance industry-leading software for simulation and development vehicles. In this role, you’ll partner with HMI developers, system engineers, and autonomous-driving technology teams to design flexible software architectures and create engaging user interfaces that meet evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with HMI developers to build tooling and software for simulation and development vehicles.
• Work with system engineers to architect flexible software implementations.
• Engage with autonomous-driving engineering teams to negotiate APIs and integrate vehicle information into interfaces.
• Partner with front end developers to create software interfaces for new hardware.
• Develop functional and visually compelling user interfaces based on requirements gathered from designers, regulations, and engineering inputs.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience or at least 10 years of equivalent experience.
• Extensive proficiency in C#, C++, Java, and Python, with solid exposure to Linux development tools.
• Prior experience in developing graphical interfaces and 3D simulation environments using Unity, OpenGL, or Qt.
• A strong understanding of networking, network protocols, and Linux server administration.
• Proven experience in automotive HMI software development and processing raw sensor data (such as LIDAR, Radar, Camera, CAN, etc.).
• Familiarity with automotive communication buses like CAN and LIN.
• A commitment to best practices in software development including automated testing, continuous integration, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Required Skills/Experience:
• Advanced programming skills in C#, C++, Java, and Python.
• Proficiency with Linux and relevant development tools.
• Experience in graphical interface design and 3D simulation (Unity/OpenGL/Qt).
• Strong networking capabilities and Linux server administration expertise.
• Solid experience in automotive HMI software development and sensor data processing.
• Knowledge of automotive communication buses (CAN, LIN).

Other Skills:
• Experience developing Autosar compatible software applications.
• Basic understanding of electronics design and debugging.
• Previous experience managing large-scale software projects.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms, computer vision, and point cloud processing.
• Experience in developing software that interfaces directly with hardware components (e.g., haptic steering wheels, motors, or other actuators).
