Position: Business Systems Analyst (Supply Chain Mgmt)

Location: HYBRID - Torrance, CA 90501
Pay Rate: $65.75 per hour (W2 ONLY)

Hybrid Schedule: Works ONSITE 4 days per week (mandatory).

Sr. Business Systems Analyst will support several Parts Application projects, including supporting vehicle launches and various service replacement part supply chain projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Partners with business staff across the organization to thoroughly understand the business needs to be supported by the information systems and technology.
• Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate ideas.
• Lead meetings, gain consensus, and take and distribute meeting minutes.
• Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to the business, developers, and project team.
• Advanced ability to create complex business cases, process models, specifications, diagrams, mockups, prototypes, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
• Develops and conducts peer reviews of the business requirements and functional specifications to ensure that requirements are correctly interpreted.
• Determines how changes to the project will affect the business and systems.
• Provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the system.
• Develops and communicates detailed specifications for implementation.
• Maintains and ensures proper documentation. This includes meeting minutes, action items, issues lists, as well as updating system documentation.
• Coordinates or performs testing of system modifications. This includes the creation of a test plan, user scenarios and test cases.
• Works with system SME to create/update project documentation.
• Collaborates with the Project Manager to ensure the needs of the client have been met.
• Works with Project Manager to keep the project on schedule, within budget, while meeting the needs of the business.
• Ability to work on one or more cross functional projects of high complexity.

TOP SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION:
** Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, gathering/defining/documenting functional/technical systems requirements.
** Experience leading testing activities, including creating test plans and test scripts, including conducting UAT's.
** MUST have some experience working with Supply Chain Management Systems for our clients automotive service parts (demand planning, forecasting, ordering, warehouse mgmt, and distribution).
• Experience working with any SCM system(s): examples: Blue Yonder (JDA), OneNetwork, Oracle SCM, SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA SCM, Info Supply Chain (CloudSuite) or Manhattan Assosicates etc.
• Understands EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transaction concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders, system integrators, and multiple IT teams.
• Able to clearly communicate and solicitate business requirements, including convey business requirements to the technical teams.
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills, able to think critically and logically when analyzing the business requirements.
• Able to visualize a concept into an easy-to-understand diagram or illustrations to help business and technical team understand the future-state requirements.

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Advanced ability to create well written business requirements, and functional design/technical documentation.
• Advanced ability to create well written and effective test plans and test scripts.
• Advanced ability to create well written project documentation in PowerPoint slides for management review.
• Advanced ability to utilize MS Visio for business/system process flow creation.
• Effective communication with business users and project stakeholders.
• Worked with System Development Life Cycle Concepts, including Waterfall and Agile Project Methodologies
• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

DESIRED SKILLS:
• Technical support experiences: Support business units on the Supply Chain Management systems (i.e. BlueYonder VCCT and OneNetwork), and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
• Auto industry supply chain experience
