Duration: Contract until January 23, 2026

Work Arrangement: Hybrid or Onsite

Role Summary:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the implementation of key projects for our client, managing schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. This role involves coordinating interdepartmental activities, solving complex problems, and acting as a liaison with stakeholders to meet project goals on time and within budget constraints.

Responsibilities:
-Managing the implementation of an external project, including setting up and directing project/program schedules and budgets.
-Monitoring projects from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customers, and coordinating interdepartmental activities to ensure timely completion within budget.
-Leading teams to solve complex problems, developing and presenting project communications to influence key internal and external stakeholders.
-Setting project expectations and implementation plans, monitoring success against business objectives, and recommending adjustments as needed.
-Leading cross-functional, cross-business project teams and teams of project managers.
-Developing proposals and business cases for projects, including identifying, securing, and coordinating resources while building consensus around objectives.
-Interfacing and managing project resources across various locations and time zones.
-Negotiating with stakeholders and sponsors to set expectations and build consensus.
-Requesting, preparing, and compiling documents for data entry, checking source documents for accuracy, certifying data, and correcting as necessary.
-Responding to challenges creatively, working collaboratively as part of a team, and following internal escalation paths.
-Logging and escalating issues to relevant teams, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and notifying management of potential risks.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
-5-7 years of cross-functional, cross-disciplinary project management and business analysis experience in technology or software-related fields.
-Knowledge of key project management components (e.g., scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, integration) and associated tools and methodologies.
-Experience managing complex projects with multi-month/year timelines.
-A four-year degree (BA/BS) preferred, though not mandatory with adequate experience.
-2-4 years of experience on a customer technical support help desk.
-Project Management Certifications (desired, but not required).
-Experience in the K-12 school foodservice market (highly desired).

Required Skills/Experience:
-Ability to implement educational technology products effectively.
-Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
-Strong communication skills for phone, online presentations, and writing.
-Ability to work under time constraints, balance multiple priorities, and collaborate across departments.
-Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and research skills.
-Self-motivated with the ability to commit to and execute on schedules.

Other Skills:
-Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL databases.
-Required to travel within the assigned location to visit sites as needed, with willingness to travel 2-3 times a year based on business needs.
-Knowledge of computers, general networking concepts, internet usage, and Microsoft Office (especially strong Excel skills for data manipulation and formulas).
-Working knowledge of office equipment, computer hardware, and peripheral devices.
-Strong customer service focus.
