**Role Summary:**
As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions to protect applications and infrastructure. This role combines hands-on development expertise with proactive threat mitigation, ensuring compliance with security standards while collaborating across teams to remediate vulnerabilities and enhance organizational resilience.

**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments using static/dynamic code analysis to identify vulnerabilities, providing actionable remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement security solutions aligned with industry standards.
- Enhance cloud security (e.g., AWS) by enforcing best practices and mitigating potential threats.
- Lead incident response efforts for breaches, including investigation, recovery, and coordination with third-party responders and law enforcement.
- Develop and maintain security controls to protect against evolving cyber threats.
- Engage in proactive security research, tool testing, and threat analysis to improve organizational resilience.
- Leverage hands-on development skills in Java, GoLang, AWS, and mobile applications to integrate security into the software lifecycle.

- Proficiency in Java, GoLang, AWS services, and mobile application development.
- Hands-on development experience with active involvement in application development.
- Experience conducting static/dynamic code analysis for security assessments.
- Knowledge of AWS security services and best practices.
- Incident response experience, including coordination with third-party responders and law enforcement.

**Other Skills:**
- Proficiency with GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Datadog for monitoring and analytics.
- Familiarity with emerging cybersecurity threats and proactive research methodologies.
