**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing and engineering complex IT systems with a focus on AWS Cloud Services and Security Hardening. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our company’s IT infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS Cloud environments, including but not limited to services such as AWS CloudFormation, Compute, Networking, Lambda, S3, FSx, EFS, IAM Roles, Policies, and VPN Services.
- Implement security hardening techniques and compliance with STIG for various systems including Windows, Linux, Networking, and Nessus.
- Administer Windows and Linux systems (RHEL and SLES), ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.
- Conduct configuration management using OSSEC and Ansible.
- Setup and maintain monitoring solutions, specifically Datadog, including dashboard configuration and management.
- Manage virtual infrastructure using VMware ESXi and VMware vCenter.
- Administer virus scan utilities such as Cloud Virus Scan, ClamAV, and Sophos.
- Oversee network management and configuration, including IPSec and Cisco Networking.

**Qualifications:**
- Experience in systems engineering with a strong background in AWS Cloud Services and Security Hardening.
- Demonstrated experience with Windows & Linux (RHEL and SLES) Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and configuration management tools like OSSEC and Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog/QRadar/SolarWinds.
- Solid understanding of virtual infrastructure, including VMware ESXi and vCenter.
- Knowledge of virus scan utilities and network management configurations.

**Preferred Skills:**
- Certifications in AWS, VMware, or other relevant fields are highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with STIG and compliance measures.
- Proven ability to document processes and procedures.

Pay Range - 70-90/hr
