Position: Sr. Project Manager (Warehouse Mgmt Systems)

Location: HYBRID - Torrance, CA 90501
Pay Rate: $77.75 per hour (W2 Only)

HYBRID: Must be able to work ONSITE 1-2 days per week

Project Manager will oversee Manhattan WMS system support teams and manage the implementation of multiple part system projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Oversee system support and enhancement for Manhattan WMS system.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in WMS technology.
• Offer technical guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders.
• Ensure WMS processes and systems adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations.
• Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Prepare and present project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage project scope, changes, cost, and schedule.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Understanding of the AS/400 Operating system and Aldon Change Management tool
• Familiar with Communication protocols in AS/400 system (e.g, Hand Held Scanners and Voice)

TOP SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:
- Strong Leadership: Oversee and manage multiple complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole or related to WMS.
- Technical: In-depth knowledge of Manhattan WMS or similar WMS configuration, integration, and troubleshooting. Strong analytic/problem solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations to communicate project objective/status/checkpoint to all level of organization.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively to manage project schedule.
- Risk Management: Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to prevent potential issues and develop proactive strategies for project success.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders, system integrators, and multiple IT teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
**MUST be able to interview ONSITE**
• 7+ years as a Project Managing, leading large-scale IT projects, including project scope, project plans, project schedules, cost, change and budgets.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS or similar Warehouse Management System
• In-depth knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and experience implementing SOX controls.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies and processes.
• Advanced ability to oversee and manage large, complex, diverse and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole
• Strong presentation skills with experience with providing project updates with all levels of the organization.
• Advanced understanding of multiple project management disciplines; Waterfall, Agile/Scrum.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

DESIRED SKILLS:
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Experience in Supply Chain processes, including inventory mgmt, order processing, and distribution center operations
• PMP Certified or successful completed a recognized project management curriculum
• Experience in automotive industry
