Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Windows Server Operations Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining Windows server environments. The role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the Windows server infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
1. Server Administration: Manage and administer Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
2. System Monitoring: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address potential server issues. Respond to alerts and take corrective actions.
3. Patch Management: Apply patches and updates to Windows servers in a timely manner to address security vulnerabilities and ensure system reliability.
4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve server-related issues, collaborating with other IT teams and vendors as needed. Provide technical support to end-users.
5. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimization measures to ensure the efficient operation of Windows servers.
6. Security Compliance: Enforce security policies and practices to protect Windows server environments from unauthorized access and potential threats.
7. Backup and Recovery: Implement and maintain backup solutions for Windows servers. Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
8. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, system administrators, and network engineers to ensure seamless integration of Windows servers with the overall IT infrastructure.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 2-4 years of experience in Windows server administration.
3. Proficient in Windows Server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019).
4. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows server technologies.
5. Experience with VMware virtualized environments.
6. Familiarity with server hardware and storage systems.
7. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Certifications (desired):
� Microsoft Certified: Windows Server certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE)
� CompTIA Server+

Pay Range - 50-65/hr
