Location: ONSITE - Georgetown, KY 40324
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour (W2 Only)

The Assembly Production Engineering�Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated PE Seibi Assembly Technician. Assembly Seibi Technician will support FAE PE with the procurement, design and trailing of new or modified equipment for NAMC’s assembly shops manufacturing production.

Responsibilities include:
• PLC/SPLC programming Toyopuc, AB, Omron, Siemens
• Offline and/or online robot programming of Fanuc and Kawasaki robots
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
• Prepare and confirm new Assembly equipment at the vendors and NAMC’s
• Support Assembly Seibi activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from design to installation and to start of production.
• Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials/SOP
• Engage in travel (or dispatch) to U.S., Canada and/or Mexico NAMCs and suppliers, as well as foreign travel including Japan, Canada, Mexico.��
• Will work overtime, including weekends and holidays and the ability to work off shifts when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Ideally looking someone who is highly technical Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) type and less for Robotics
• Associate technical degree (or higher), or equivalent experience (2 years)
• 2+ year of experience as a Assembly Technician (Manufacturing Production Environment) or worked with or Control Technician
• Strong experience with PLC programming, Toyopuc, AB, Omron, Siemens

Other Requirements:
• Must be able to travel 50% domestically and internationally (Canada/Japan/Mexico) - Has or is able to obtain a passport with no travel restrictions
• Must be able to work 20% overtime when required

DESIRED SKILLS:
• Degree in Industrial Maintenance related field
• Knowledge of safety scanner set up and programming
• Knowledge of vision systems setup and integration
• Knowledge of various industrial controls networking, Ethernet IP, TCIP, FLNet, ProfiNet
• Understanding of Assembly AVI
• Automotive Assembly experience
• Automotive experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with mentoring and/or technical training.
