Job Title: 6-Month Contract Android Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience developing applications for the Android platform and a solid understanding of modern mobile architecture patterns such as MVC and MVVM.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the team to understand business requirements and design and implement assigned applications within the enterprise architecture
* Tackle technical issues independently and mentor other developers in best practices
* Own the requirements acceptance, design, work plan, and delivery of a group of features
* Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders
* Work closely with product owners and business analysts to review and provide feedback on requirements
* Collaborate with other team members to design and technically lead a group of features
* Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of all application development work
* Conduct code reviews from other developers on the team
* Contribute to defining coding standards and maintaining them
* Write and execute unit and functional tests for development work
* Collaborate with QA in the review, creation, and delivery of functional automation tests

Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years of experience developing applications for the Android platform
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor others
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Familiarity with modern mobile architecture patterns such as MVC and MVVM
* Strong programming skills and a deep understanding of the Android platform and its ecosystem
* Commitment to continuously advancing technical skills and staying current on the latest software development practices.
