Our client is looking to hire a Security Engineer (Penetration Testing Vulnerability Assessment).

This position is responsible for providing our professional cyber security services, such as vulnerability management and penetration testing services, to our client companies.

Job Functions:
• Participating in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing for various targets, such as networks and web applications. o Prepare and gather information in advance for the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing with customer and coordinate with outsourcers for scheduling and providing the information.
o Conduct the vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
o Review reports on the result of the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing created by another engineer.

• Maintaining vulnerability assessment and penetration testing procedures and processes.
• Providing hands-on validation of static code analysis results and software composition analysis results; Communicating results with developers to fix issues.
• Conducting cyber security technical consulting with customers.
• Responding to inquiries regarding service capabilities as necessary, defining the scope of work, and drawing up proposals for new and existing clients. o Create and enhance sales materials of our cyber security services.
o Give presentations of our services to customers and prospective customers and adjust scope of work and methodologies as necessary.
o Collaborate with other security engineers to define statement of work for projects and draw up proposals for customers.
• Seeks constant improvement, more efficient, and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
• Maintains a high level of accuracy in daily work.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for resolution.
• Maintains good communication with management, office staff members, and outside contacts.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe working area.

Education & Work Experience :
• Two or more years security engineer or equivalent work experience in the IT field.
• Familiar with common web security vulnerabilities, such as OWASP Top 10, and their principles.
• Familiar with security assessment tools, such as Nmap, Burp Suite.
• Coding skill in at least one language, such as Python, Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, PowerShell, preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science/Information Security/Cybersecurity or equivalent field of study, preferred.
• Social skills including the ability to articulate to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to work both independently as well as with other engineers.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with excellent oral and written communication skills
• General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, personal computer, printer, scanner, etc.
• Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office, Google Apps Operation, Basic Network and Internet knowledge, and Basic Information and IT Security knowledge.

Certificates / Licenses:
• GIAC, OSCP,CISSP, preferred.
