Product Quality and Technical Evaluation Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Lab Technician.

• Primary responsibility of this role is to evaluate parts and materials to specified standards, requestor’s experience and/or usage criteria.
• Support the Product Quality and Technical Evaluation department's objective to meet or exceed customer expectations by providing timely and accurate results to every request.
• Translate test requests into actual sample prep, equipment set up, data collection and reporting.
• Conduct part and material evaluations to ensure the results meet the expectations of the requesting group.
• Maintain, comply, and support Lab Safety requirements and workplace organization standards
• Utilize standardized work methods and machine operating procedures to conduct evaluations
• Identify and communicate abnormalities in processes, people, and information.
• Writing or revising standardized work methods and machine operating procedures
• Support lab equipment general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and calibration
• Subject Matter Test Expert in assigned area capable of training others to perform evaluations and operate test equipment
• Actively lead/initiate problem-solving activities to identify root cause, countermeasure and prevent reoccurrence.

**Available to work onsite full-time**
• 5 years of work experience within a Test Lab environment or has a Associates Degree (or higher).
• Demonstrate ability to interact with Engineering as well as other technical support groups.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Skills
• Experience operating highly sensitive analytical lab equipment.
• Experience using technical standards and drawing systems such as ASTM, ISO or industry to complete raw material testing.
• Ability to recognize and resolve testing and equipment issues before, during, and after evaluations.
• Able to travel 5% of the time in the US

• EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience building digital platforms or systems using MS Power Apps, SharePoint and/or MS Office
• Experience setting up and using Collaborative Robotic Arms
• Vehicle interior build or repair experience
• IPC-A-610 CIS certification in the last 5 years
• Environmental Chamber Experience
• Experience supporting calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
