Position: Construction Project Manager

**Local candidates are ideal, with in the greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky areas or you Must be willing to relocate 100 miles with the client site**

Project: Project Leader to support Sales & Distribution Projects (US only)

Responsibilities include:
• Manage overall project schedule and budget including management reporting. 
• Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, budget, safety, and current open issues. 
• Monitor contractor performance as to cost and schedule performance tracking. 
• Development of detailed user criteria documentation for the building expansion activities.
• Development of scope of work for the procurement of AE and construction type services. 
• Manage Project Engineers to review Specifications, Utility Standards, Drawing Reviews, and coordination with customers. 
• Monitor and coordinate architect/engineer site visits and responses to contractor inquiries. 
• Monitor delivery and review of shop drawings and submittals. 
• Attend job site meetings with contractors and consultants to monitor progress on activities. 
• Provide an initial review of vendor and contractor payment applications, validating actual project progress against approved schedule of values. 
• Evaluate, negotiate, and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives & change orders. 
• Oversee the contractor’s Quality Control program and ensure Quality Control procedures adhere to the plans. 

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Must be willing to travel 25% of the time to the various sites in Mexico, Japan and Canada
** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, and/or Construction Mgmt IS REQUIRED
** 5-10+ years over all experience as a Construction Project Manager, having managed multiple project simultaneously
** Must have experience with building facilities and office buildings
** Experience managing project schedules, reporting, budget forecasting/management, escalating issues and coordinating between design teams
** Experience bidding for design or architecture services and award those contracts and leading efforts and project specifications
** Able to manage multiple size projects, coordinating all implementations and assuring contracts are managed through safety program
** Creative problem solver and understand when to escalate issues
• MUST have experience with building facilities and office buildings
• Experience managing project sizes of $1M or greater construction type projects. 
• Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management
• Experience managing team of project engineers, construction coordinators, and safety personnel.
• Experience working in construction of light industrial facilities
• Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project).
• Able to work 5-10% overtime when needed

Desired, Nice To Have's:
** Worked for a Construction or Engineering firm as a Project Manager (PNG, Boeing, Kellogg's)
** Certification: PMP or Engineering or Architecting Certification
• Technical knowledge and understanding of project scheduling and estimating
• General understanding of construction safety programs and requirements
• Software capabilities: AutoCAD, Blue Beam, and PlanGrid (Similar tool ProCore)
