Desktop Support Technician

The Firm is doing an upgrade to our Windows 10 image which will including deployment of an upgraded document management system and Microsoft Office 365, on new and used computers. The effort will touch our more than 200 end users in the LA offices and include a hardware upgrade, as well.

Work description:
Following a script to deploy the new image, as well as collecting old equipment, ensuring new equipment is up and running and users are able to successfully access their data, etc.
Assist with keeping track of equipment inventory.
Other responsibilities will include logging issues, troubleshooting problems to resolution, post migration Q&As, etc.
The goal for LA is to deploy 4-5 new machines daily.
Hours for the project will be Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. PST to 5:0 p.m. PST; the team does not anticipate OT at this point.
Communication and customer service skills, as well as overall professionalism will be key ingredients to ensure the team is successful as the end user community is accustomed to white-glove support.
Dress code is business casual.
