Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist/Developer (not a business user) will stand up, implement, setup configuration and back-end tooling for marketing cloud platforms. They are confessing this with their internal CRM systems, integrating Salesforce ecosystem. This departments deals with operations, marketing and supporting/assisting in leading the solution. They are mostly responsible for setting up and the Architecting side (70%) of SFMC and since they are already live with the platform, they will also provide some degree of campaigns support (30%). In the future there are going to be more technical things that we will take on in house and that’s where this person would provide support. They will also provide some campaign (30%)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Consult and administer the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
• Support implementation efforts for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and it's applications
• Provide automation management and development
• Work with data configuration, manipulations, audiences and advanced segmentation
• Produce reporting and analytics
• Perform quality assurance and troubleshooting on email campaign functionality
• Collaborate with business partners on email marketing campaigns and journeys
• Support campaign content and assets management
• Create personalized, dynamic messages, and landing pages
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
• Support execution of Email and SMS Marketing campaigns

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
** This is 100% a remote position, you dont need to reside in California **
** Experience providing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Development for implementations (setting up and configuring back-up tools and working with lots of data integrations)
** Must have experience standing up, configuring and architecting Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) at the Enterprise level.
** Technical skills including using AMPScript, SSIS for emails, HTML, JavaScript and SQL
** 5+ yrs of exp designing, developing, executing/maintaining marketing campaigns, using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation studio, Content Builder, and Analytics Studio
** Familiar with HTML and JavaScript to support the business side, getting into Dynamics and CSS/JavaScript for emails/webpage development.
** Must have experience standing up, and architecting SFMC for enterprise level platforms
** Should have some experience connecting CRM platforms to Salesforce
** Experience working with the business partners in understanding what is the best approach for marketing automation, how to architect the data automation's and driving campaigns. (You not responsible for the campaigns, but understand how the technology is intended to be used).
** Strong HTML/CSS development skills - web and email
• Experience developing HTML email templates, SFMC templates & components, landing pages, and scripting
• Strong Scripting language skills such as AMPScript, SSIS for emails, landing pages, SMS, and push notifications.
• Knowledgeable of email marketing best practices
• Knowledgeable of email development best practices (design & delivery issues, responsive design and programming)
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
** Any experience with Audit Mgmt/implementations for marketing cloud, using Audience Builder or Customer 360 tools is desired
** Experience testing to validate email rendering and delivering using Litmus (Insights) is desired
