This position will be responsible for developing comprehensive presentations, budget requirements, as well as a variety of other technical and project leadership tasks to facilitate the integration of M&A targets. This position will influence and provide direction to cross-divisional and cross-functional teams through all phases of due diligence and formation of post-acquisition integration and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, possess excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills, be a self-starter, demonstrate strong business acumen, and possess strong team leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have M&A transaction experience, including relevant experience in corporate development and acute care hospital IT operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Play a critical role in implementing M&A strategies within the healthcare technology sector
Influence and provide direction to cross-functional teams of internal and external resources to perform comprehensive due diligence
Support all aspects of M&A execution including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and creation of operating plans and due diligence summaries
Own the regular updating and reporting of M&A activities
Collaborate with peers across the enterprise to identify and adopt best practices
Continuously learn from being exposed to communication, valuation, and documentation that are integral aspects of all deal execution
Lead / support frequent communications to senior leadership throughout all phases of an M&A transaction from strategy formation through operational integration

Requirements:
5+ years of relevant M&A experience required (including corporate development, Hospital System development)
Experience managing M&A deal processes through the deal execution lifecycle
Strong executive presence, presentation skills, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex information concisely to leaders
Strong team leadership skills
Knowledge of Project Management principles and tools to improve collaboration/execution - MBA or Project Management certifications is a plus to have
Highly organized and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Excellent financial and quantitative analysis skills, written and oral communication
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Must be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Healthcare technology experience is strongly preferred – Technical ability to understand IT-related concepts relating to Infrastructure/Applications integrations
