Position: Sourcing Analyst – IT

As a 1st tier premier vendor and we have been asked to identify candidates for the position below. We currently have 70 consultants billing with this client nationwide and have been awarded Supplier Of The Year 5x with this client. The average consultants is on project between 2-5 years. All work must be performed on-site (no remote work offered) and you must be available for a face to face interviews.

Sourcing Analyst – IT will support our clients business units' moderate to high complexity, sourcing and negotiation activities specific to Information Technology.  This resource will work in the Indirect Procurement Shared Services department (IPSS), to support business unit requests to procure services related to the Information Technology functions. The Resource must have the ability to interpret, amend and negotiate innovative and favorable contractual terms with business unit customers and suppliers, as well as drive RFP and competitive bid scenarios and the ability to run financial analysis models accordingly.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Oversight/execution of strategic sourcing functions and RFx sourcing events.
• Lead and facilitate sourcing initiatives in collaboration with business units, stakeholders, suppliers and/or affiliates (cross functional teams) ensuring that a competitive environment is maintained throughout
the sourcing event.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key supplier representatives and internal customers and stakeholders
• Perform data analysis and research of purchase orders, contract documents, procurement summary memorandums and reports
• Supporting the development and execution of contractual documents including Non-Disclosure, Services and other agreements as necessary to support Procurement and business needs.
• In addition to the functions above, responsible for: collecting demand, engaging business units to plan for needs/requests, manage RFx events, and collaborate with IPSS contract and PO teams to ensure
requests are completed accurately and timely

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Experienced Contracts professional with 3+ years of IT negotiations and contract development.
• Soliciting demand/IT Requirements for use in drafting RFPs
• Drafting and coordinating RFP activity through contract execution
• Strong ability to negotiate IT terms and conditions related to Software, Hardware, Services, and SAAS products
• Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to effectively work in a matrix team environment with minimal oversight and maximum flexibility
• Possess strong project management skills
• Possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills, superior relationship management
• The ability to multitask, and have a good sense of prioritization and familiarization with corporate budget process
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Drafting and negotiating Statements of Work with a high focus on:
- Software license agreements (including software as a service, maintenance, hosting, SLAs, etc.)
- IT and Business Process outsourcing agreements (managed services, help desk, data center agreements, service management)
- Hardware (who the major suppliers are, how they price their products/services, how you source/negotiate, etc.)

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
• Financial Services industry experience
• Experience in sourcing/procurement, including gathering bids and coordinating competitive process
• Familiarity with MyService/SNOW a benefit
• Proficiency is Sharepoint
• eMarketplace knowledge
