As a 1st tier premier vendor and we have been asked to identify candidates for the position below. We currently have 70 consultants billing with this client nationwide and have been awarded Supplier Of The Year 5x with this client. The average consultants is on project between 2-5 years. All work must be performed on-site (no remote work offered) and you must be available for a face to face interviews.

Level 3 Technical Support Technician is responsible for support, troubleshooting and installation of IT infrastructure equipment.  This can consist of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, servers, and networking equipment in the environment. Requires experience working directly with customers and other support personnel.  Responsible for local coordination, installation and ongoing support of various Manufacturing and Administrative computer systems. They will oversee and assist installation & configuration of LAN, Telco and A/V infrastructure.  Responsibility also includes break/fix for plant floor equipment, able to repair and/or replacement of critical plant floor equipment require a 15-minute turnaround time. work directly with Plant Floor and Administrative Staff to identify issues and develop/implement countermeasures.   24 hour on-call coverage required to support multiple manufacturing shifts.

Rotating Shifts (3):
1) 5:30 am – 2:15 pm
2) 7:00 am – 3:45 pm
3) 8:00 am – 4:45 pm

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Provide on-going support of Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications
• Install and troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, Server, LAN and WAN environment.
• Work directly with customers and development
• Provide local coordination, installation and ongoing support of various Manufacturing and Administrative computer systems.
• Client-side support: PC HW/SW installation and troubleshooting, Printers, Bar code scanners, Video conference, mobile computing and communication devices.
• Server support: (Windows/Unix), Active Directory administration, implementation/refresh of server hardware and network infrastructure.
• Daily monitoring, troubleshooting & administration of Cisco multilayer switched networks, servers and data center infrastructure.
• Provide issue resolution off-hours as needed, both onsite & remotely
• Provide detailed problem reports.
• Coordination with Regional/Local IS teams and 3rd party vendors to support IS projects, incidents and requests.
• Manage and prioritize Incident and Request tickets

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
** MUST have exp writing Infrastructure Cabling Scopes of Work
** Must have strong networking infrastructure (Fiber Optic & Copper cabling) experience
** General knowledge of telecommunication construction (Conduits, Pullboxes, Handholes)
•  3+ Years providing Deskside Suppport/Level III for Cisco Networking and Windows environments
•  Technical Expertise in the following technologies: Cisco Layer 2 & Layer 3 Routing, Cisco Wireless Networks, Cisco PBX Administration, IT Cabling Infrastructure (Fiber, Copper, Telco), Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008, 2012, Windows Active Directory
•  Working knowledge/experience of PC imaging tools (SCCM), diagnosis and remote control tools.
•  Working knowledge/experience supporting Multifunction printing devices, laser and impact printers, bar code printers & scanners, Smartphones, tablets and PDA hardware and software.
•  Working knowledge/experience supporting Hardware for Servers, data backup libraries and SAN/NAS.
•  Experience in Service Management, Change Mgmt., Outage & Problem Management and other ITIL-based best practices.
•  Working knowledge of Cisco standard protocols/technologies: DNS, DHCP, SCCM, Cisco Works
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
•  Able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders and staircases to access IT equipment.
•  Able to work flexible hours and overtime
•  Able to provide 24x7 on-call coverage
