Position: Desktop/Deskside Support (Level III)
JOB REF#: 812007
Duration: 6+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location: Jackson, TN 38031 (on-site only)
Rate: Open/Market Rate (W2 ONLY/H1B Transfer)

As a 1st tier premier vendor and we have been asked to identify candidates for the position below. We currently have 70 consultants billing with this client nationwide and have been awarded Supplier Of The Year 5x with this client. The average consultants is on project between 2-5 years. All work must be performed on-site (no remote work offered) and you must be available for a face to face interviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• L3 support for IT Infrastructure and Services, validating and documenting processes necessary to maintain production network architecture.  
• Supporting Cisco network switches, troubleshooting Windows 10 operating system, supporting MS Office 365 and ensuring the network infrastructure is reliably deployed
• Documenting the processes necessary to maintain IS environment and understanding the technology solutions that are used to support the execution of these business processes. 
• Perform superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills at the System Engineer level (L3).
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical business users and have the technical depth to also communicate effectively to other internal IS Groups
• Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision.
• Working with various levels of technical individuals at remote locations to resolve problems or in implementing on new switches or Servers

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• 3+ years providing Level III Deskside Support, installing and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and servers
• Must have exp administering Windows Server O/S, VMware/Virtual Servers, and VMware vSphere
• Must have experience in maintaining Cisco Switches
• Must have exp installing, troubleshooting and resolving problems of various software on Windows 10 Operating system
• Experience installing and troubleshooting server room hardware components, such as Rack Servers, Fiber, Cisco switches, Disk Drives, and Memory, etc.
• Experience using a ticket management system
• Experience on AirWatch/iPhone support is an in advantage
• Must have excellent oral communication and custom service skills

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
• Experience and/or knowledge of PLC’s 
• Knowledge of CRAC/HVAC Units and UPS preferred.
• MCSE or CCNE Certified
