Calance is a 1st tier vendor and we have been asked to identify candidates for the position below. We currently have 70 consultants billing with this client nationwide and were recently awarded 2019 MVP Supplier. The average consultants is on project between 2-5 years. All work must be performed on-site (no remote work offered) and you must be available for a face to face interviews.

Lending Analyst is responsible for underwriting dealer credit packages for our client and dealers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. They will be evaluating multiple packages a month, ranging in loan value of $20M-$100M. Loan requests include floorplan lines of credit, real estate loans, working capital loans, and revolving lines of credit.  They will be coordinating with field associates in all aspects of the loan package request, providing an assessment of collateral position including recommendations to strengthen position, as well as consulting with legal, reviewing and maintaining Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings and reviewing wholesale and loan documentation.

Perform financial analysis based on company prepared financial statements, tax returns and CPA reviewed/audited financial statements in order to determine the Borrower’s liquidity, leverage, and capitalization. 
- Reviewing financial statements submitted by dealers on a monthly basis to client, not loan-related documents; not communicating with dealers directly; 6-12 financial statements per day, potentially more
depending on the task.
- Relay any questions to the Field once review is done
- May sometimes review one specific statement for several dealers
- May assist in preparing credit packages (about 7 pages), which are then circulated throughout the department for review

• Provide cash flow analysis for all proposed loans.
• Evaluate, assess, and determine the risk associated with all credit requests and provide the approval authority with appropriate information to support conclusions.
• Evaluate the risk to the clients based on a careful analysis of all financial information, security for proposed loans, and proposed corporate/personal guaranties.
• Review and analyze organizational documentation related to loan approvals. Review can include buy/sell agreements, LLCs, and partnerships documentation as well as standard documentation required for new
wholesale relationships. To identify ownership structure – what kind of business it is (LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, etc.)
• Participate in internal projects relating to system enhancement, and process improvements. Prepare ad hoc reports per request from upper management.
• Review of dealer financial statements monthly, specifically monitoring profitability, current ratio, risk rating, cash day supply and new and used vehicle equity.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• 1+ years of Underwriting experience – Commercial Lending
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• Experience in underwriting expertise with AUTOMOTIVE dealer borrowers
• Experience in financial analysis of commercial loan documents, to include organizational structures, cash flow analysis, industry standard financial ratios/covenants, and establishing loan collateralization
• Experience with analyzing loan requests to ensure legal compliance and reach a conclusion as to risk position of the loan
• Professional oral and written communication skills
• MS Office proficiency
• LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, able to interview in person
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
• 3+ years of applicable experience
• Commercial credit underwriting
• Crowe Navigator a big plus
